The key code you choose from the key code list must be an exact match to the key code your ignition or lock uses or it will not work.
Places to look for your key code:

Stamped on the housing of your ignition switch or on the housing of one of your locks (removal of the switch or lock may be necessary to find the code) You'll find a 6 digit number, the last 3 digits of that number is the key code.
